Are you ready for new challenges in your career? Are you positive, solution-oriented, unpretentious, and see opportunities in collaboration with others? Is development within your profession important to you? Then this could be the perfect position for you!

We are now looking for a special education teacher with a focus on mathematics to join our student health team at Bladins School. You will primarily work with students in grades 4-9, but sometimes also with younger students. The school has many skilled mathematics teachers, and you will also have several special education and special needs colleagues.

With Bladins as your employer, skilled employees truly make a difference. At Bladins, every student should have the opportunity to reach the top of their potential. To achieve this, we need the absolute best teachers. In the fall, Bladins will also have gifted students in mathematics, English, and modern languages. Therefore, all our teachers should:

  • Take responsibility for, and have insight into, students' results, which means being attentive to each student's conditions and needs.

  • Have very high expectations of students and their ability to develop.

  • Engage and stimulate students' curiosity, interest, and learning.

  • Take responsibility for relevant professional development to grow and develop in their profession.

Job Description

As a special education teacher, you are part of, and a support in, our preventive and health-promoting work together with the entire school's student health team. You work with specific and intensive interventions for students in need of support, where it is crucial to think outside the box and create conditions for each student to succeed in mathematics, as well as to guide teacher colleagues in their support efforts.

You work independently and purposefully, organizing the work for each intervention in collaboration with the teaching teacher, special educator, and principal. You are a clear support in the school leaders' work with student health and can be involved in the school's development processes. You work on behalf of the principal and are a representative in the school's student health team. You collaborate with all different functions in the student health team, especially with our special educators and special education teachers. Together, you shape the special education work.

The position is a 100% permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and has completed the special education teacher program with a focus on mathematics. You should have a genuine interest in developing your own profession and driving each student's learning forward. You are expected to have excellent leadership qualities. You also have a very good ability to communicate and create positive, sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. We expect you to be proactive in collegial learning. You have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both in speech and writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
